Unicode 5.0 – the book December 4, 2006

I am obviously nowhere near the level of geekdom with respect to Unicode that others have reached… I was happy to receive my copy of the Unicode 5.0 Standard about a week ago, but somehow “squealing with delight” is not a reaction I can envision 🙂

I also have to admit that it doesn’t have a place on my nightstand; I think I could maybe prop it up to read for about 90 seconds without having to rest my arms.

Highly recommended though – just one of the improvements compared to 4.0 is the inclusion of the Standard Annexes.
